Mobius Expands Asia Presence with Taipei Office
Mobius Microsystems, a pioneer in precision silicon oscillators, has established the company's first international sales office in Taipei, Taiwan. The company also announced the appointment of Alex Tso as director of the Asia Pacific Region to run Mobius' new sales office in Taiwan. Mobius Microsystems develops precision analog integrated circuits for frequency generation and quartz replacements. It is the first company to commercialize very thin profile, high frequency pure CMOS oscillators that rival quartz crystals in performance. The company's flagship CMOS Harmonic Oscillator (CHOTM) technology enables all-silicon oscillators to replace piezoelectric quartz-referenced oscillators in a variety of applications in the consumer, computation, and data communications segments which use USB 2.0, S-ATA and PCIe interfaces. Mobius' innovative products enable design engineers to create smaller, thinner and lower power devices. Built using precision CMOS analog circuits without mechanical resonators, Mobius oscillators improve system reliability by eliminating shock and vibration sensitivity. Tso joins Mobius having over 20 years' experience in sales management in the semiconductor industry. His background includes senior regional management roles for Taiwan, China and the greater Asia Pacific region with a focus on high volume consumer and computation applications. He reoprts to Scott Hills, VP of worldwide sales. |
